The Junior Golf Program at Sawgrass Country Club exists to provide today’s youth with an opportunity to experience the game of a lifetime. The program is designed to grow the club by introducing junior golfers to each aspect of the game with an emphasis on making golf fun! Our staff is dedicated to maintaining a program that develops the positive personality traits becoming of young men and women on and off the course.

Junior Golf is Where It's At!
The Professional staff will be offering after school Junior golf clinics from 4-5 pm on Wednesday and Saturday with Hank and Aaron.
The clinics are open to all Sawgrass Members and the cost is $10 per child.
Please call the Pro Shop in advance to sign up. Additionally, look for other clinics that will be held on teacher workdays and school holidays.

Junior Golf Code of Conduct
The Junior Golf Code of Conduct is designed to preserve safety and well-being for junior golfers and all members of the club. The Code prohibits the following activities: Throwing equipment Use of profane language Club equipment or property damage Littering Cheating Fighting Yelling or Screaming The use of a golf car during organized play The use of a cell phone while on club property Any other act unbecoming of a junior golfer A breach of the club dress code, as follows: Males: All shirts must have a collar and be tucked in at all times. Hats, visors, and caps must be worn with the bill facing forward and are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Females: Traditional golf attire is permitted. Slacks, shorts, skorts, culottes or capri pants are acceptable and must be of an appropriate length. (Length is preferred not to exceed 5” above the knee). Girls may wear shirts without collars if they have sleeves. All Golfers: The following are considered inappropriate: jeans, T-shirts, tank tops, logoed sports jerseys, cut-offs, denim garments, bicycle shorts, swimming attire, sweat suits, tennis attire, coaching shorts, and cargo shorts. Only approved golf shoes with non-penetrating spikes or sneakers are permitted. The Sawgrass Country Club dress code contributes to the tradition, decorum, and dignity of our Club and applies to all golf facilities from the time of your arrival. Members must ensure that their family and guests are dressed appropriately. We encourage our members and guests, if in doubt, to err on the side of formality and conservatism. Consequences & Enforcement 1st Offense: The junior will be reprimanded and given a two stroke penalty if warranted during tournament play. 2nd Offense:The junior will be suspended or disqualified from the current activity and ineligible to participate for 1 week from the breach of conduct. 3rd Offense: The junior will be expelled from all junior activities for the remainder of the calendar year.
